Work with us
Volunteering, internships and collaboration
We are a young, small foundation. Today we have no open calls or paid vacancies, and we would rather say so than let you fill in a form that leads nowhere.
What there is, is work to be done. If any of these areas matches yours, write to us: we read every message.
Marine biology and scientific diving
Reef and seagrass monitoring, fauna surveys and underwater work. A current diving certification and insurance are required; outings follow the Foundation's safety protocol.
Data and technology
Spatial analysis, GIS, cleaning and standardising biodiversity records. The Observatory is our own software and open to anyone who wants to help improve it.
Community work and environmental education
Working alongside fishing and coastal communities, workshops and outreach. Previous experience in the territory counts for more than a degree.
Citizen science
You don't need to be a professional. If you dive, sail or walk the beach, you can report what you see and a biologist verifies it before it is published.
The quickest way to start
Report a sighting. It is the real entry point to the Foundation's work: your record joins the Observatory with your credit as soon as a biologist verifies it.
