Database analysis
Carried out by the Foundation's team
What can be learned from an environmental database that already exists?
Concrete answers to management questions: trends over time, spatial patterns, relationships between variables and differences between sites or seasons, with reproducible statistical and spatial analysis. Many institutions have years of data that has never been analysed.
Who's behind it
Laura Carolina Rodríguez Rey does spatial and statistical analysis in R, Python, SPSS and PostGIS. Esteban René Andrade has analysed fishing processes by cleaning and interpreting field databases. See the team.
