Safety in water operations
Carried out by the Foundation's team
How is safety managed in a project that works in the water?
With a written plan before going out, people trained to carry it out and equipment that has been checked: a risk assessment for every diving or boating operation, emergency and evacuation protocols, and hands-on training in first aid, emergency oxygen and water rescue for field teams, divers and fishing communities.
Who's behind it
Juliana González Orozco has been a PADI diving instructor since 2014, is a DAN instructor and a pre-hospital care technologist with a current RETHUS registration, trained in water rescue. She has run dive centres and the logistics of their crews. See the team.
